This poster by Alphonse Mucha advertised the 20th exhibition of the Salon des Cent, held in March and April 1896 at the Hall de la Plume, 31 rue Bonaparte, Paris. It shows a half-draped woman with long hair, holding a quill and a brush. It is a colour lithograph on paper, printed in Paris by Champenois & Cie, and Mucha's name appears in print at the left. The text on the sheet also gives the entrance price as 0.50. It belongs to the Art Nouveau poster tradition for which Mucha became known in Paris.
