Akasaka Kiribatake is a woodblock print by Utagawa Hiroshige, dated 1856. It forms part of his series One Hundred Famous Views of Edo, where it is numbered 52 and sits in the summer section. The title refers to the paulownia garden at Akasaka, which is the place the print takes as its subject. Hiroshige is regarded as the last great master of the ukiyo-e tradition, and this work shows his interest in everyday places within the city of Edo, seen through the turn of the seasons.

Utagawa Hiroshige, born Andō Tokutarō and also known as Andō Hiroshige, was a Japanese artist who worked in the ukiyo-e tradition. He is regarded as the last great master of that tradition, and his name remains closely tied to the form. His prints are a fine way to bring that heritage into a home.
