Painted in 1927, Fruits and Flowers is an oil painting on canvas by the American artist Henry Lee McFee. As the title tells us, it brings together fruit and flowers, a pairing that has long suited the still life tradition. McFee is remembered as an early American cubist and was a prominent member of the Woodstock artists colony. The painting is now part of the American painting collection at the Cleveland Museum of Art.
